The holidays are finally here, which means the Downtown Huntsville Tinsel Trail in Big Spring Park is officially opening for the season on Friday, November 27th! We can’t think of a better way to ring in the holiday season than taking in the Christmas trees around the park in Downtown Huntsville.
300 businesses and nonprofits in the community have decorated a tree in the spirit of community. It’s truly a sight to see and one that the entire family will enjoy. We’re excited to share that M&B will have a tree on the trail again this year. On top of this, we’re bringing back our annual contest to give one lucky winner $250 in holiday spending money!
Here are the official rules to enter the 2020 Tinsel Trail Giveaway:
1. Find the Martinson & Beason tree on the trail.
2. Take a photo (or selfie!) with the Martinson & Beason tree.
3. Post your picture on your Facebook profile.
4. Like our Facebook page @MartinsonandBeason
5. Tag our firm page in your photo post!
Follow those steps and your entry is locked in! We’ll collect the names of everyone who enters and pick a winner at random on Thursday, December 16th at 5:00 PM (CT) on Facebook Live. Clients and non-clients alike are welcome to participate!
Stay tuned to our Facebook page for details and updates about the contest. The deadline to enter is Wednesday, December 16th at midnight. One winner will receive a $250 gift card. Once selected, the winner will have twelve (12) hours to claim their prize. If the prize isn’t claimed within the allotted 12-hour winner, we’ll select a new winner on Thursday, December 17th.
Learn More About the Tinsel Trail
The Tinsel Trail is a free, family-friendly event in Downtown Huntsville. The Tinsel Trail is now in its tenth year of operation and is a community holiday favorite. Each tree is sponsored by a local corporation, group, or family who decides how to decorate it for the holiday season. Some decide to go with traditional tree decorating, while others get creative with themes.
In addition to sponsored trees, you can also view large flagship trees and the City of Huntsville Tree along the Tinsel Trail. This community event runs from November 27th through January 3, 2021. Parking is available on Williams Avenue, in the PNC Bank garage on Church Street, and Von Braun Center garage.
We encourage everyone to participate for the chance to win some Christmas cash. The team is looking forward to seeing your pictures with our tree!
