86 Years of Excellence

“23 GET LICENSE TO STATE BAR ASSOCIATION” FROM THE PROGRESSIVE AGE, 1937

Martinson & Beason, PC is a law firm that has been a staple of the Huntsville, Alabama community for over 80 years. Our firm was founded by Douglas Carroll Martinson, who passed the bar on April 29, 1937. This year marks the 86th anniversary of that momentous occasion, and we take great pride in honoring our founder’s legacy.

Today, the firm is still family-owned and operated, with the late Douglas Claude Martinson having served as the managing partner and his sons, Doug II and Mac, continuing the legacy as partners of Martinson & Beason, PC.

As we celebrate the 86th anniversary of Douglas Carroll Martinson passing the bar, we are reminded of the tremendous impact he had on the legal profession and the community of Huntsville, Alabama. We are honored to carry on his legacy and strive to provide our clients with the highest quality legal representation.

To commemorate this day, we wanted to share a newspaper clipping from The Progressive Age, which was published out of Scottsboro until 1962. The article lists Douglas Carroll Martinson as having passed the bar, along with two other Jackson County men.

This anniversary is a reminder of the hard work and dedication that our founder put into his legal career. We are proud to display his law license inside our firm’s conference room as a symbol of our commitment to upholding the values that Douglas Carroll Martinson instilled in our firm.
