U.S. Veterans Memorial Museum in Huntsville, AL

March 19, 2015 by Morris Lilienthal

US VeteransLocated in the northern part of Alabama, Huntsville comes in as the fourth largest city in the state. While there are many things that are special to this town, one attraction that we hold close to our hearts is the U.S. Veterans Memorial Museum on Airport Road SW. With everything that our veterans have done for us, it is nice to work so close to a place that pays homage to these heroes.

This museum works in three different areas: historical preservation, public display, and public education. While all veterans are honored within these grounds, the museum holds a great emphasis on those who fought for the United States in World War I. Many Huntsville residents as well as visitors come to the museum to remember those family members and loved ones who fought and lost there lives in the war. The museum commemorates those from all different areas of the military, including men and women from the front line, doctors, researchers, and many other positions held.

“101 Inventions that Changed the World” Exhibit at the Huntsville, AL U.S. Space & Rocket Center

February 23, 2015 by Morris Lilienthal

“101 Inventions that Changed the World” Exhibit at the Huntsville, AL U.S. Space & Rocket CenterLove is in the air! After all, February is the month to celebrate our closest unions, our friends, and for the attached or married, that special person that makes our hearts soar. While Valentine’s Day falls in February, there is no reason why science cannot fit right alongside romance. With so much emphasis on the mystery of love, it might comfort those with a less emotional or more intellectual bent to learn that science continues to study and illuminate the physiological side of chemistry and attraction. Besides, intelligence typically ranks high in desirable traits.

For those looking to improve their mental capacities, or even those who just love science, why not investigate the U.S. Space & Rocket Center located in Huntsville, Alabama? The special exhibit highlights the “101 Inventions that Changed the World.” Take advantage of the opportunity to not only expand your awareness, but of the power of scientific discovery in everyday life. The impact of how these scientific discoveries have changed the world around us makes for an epic story as life altering as any romantic ballad – or at least just as interesting.
