The BBB, which has existed for over 100 years, sets the standards for ethics in business and monitors businesses to ensure ethical compliance. In addition to evaluating businesses, the BBB also reviews charities to help potential donors make informed decisions.

Prior to that time, she served as the director of small business and workforce development with the Chamber of Commerce of Huntsville/Madison County.
