Hometown: New Orleans/Huntsville
High School: Huntsville High School
College: University of Alabama
Class: Rising Junior
Major: Political Science and Criminal Justice
Why Martinson & Beason? This upcoming year I will be a junior in which I am double majoring in political science and criminal justice. In the future, I hope to go to law school after graduation. I am particularly interested in criminal law and probate law. I look forward to interning for Martinson and Beason PC this summer to gain some exposure to court proceedings and trials and to see how a law firm operates.

About Jailen Young

Hometown: Huntsville, AL
High School: Mae Jemison High School/J.O. Johnson High School
College/Classification: Berea College/Rising Junior
Major: Business Administration w/ concentration in Accounting
Why Martinson & Beason PC? My intro to accounting has been fairly easy but not so much hands on. This summer I wanted to give myself the opportunity to put forward what I have learned so far in accounting towards use in the real-world. Martinson & Beason is giving me the opportunity to understand why certain concepts I have learned in accounting are used. I am also given an opportunity to have a peak lesson in certain accounting fields such as forensic accounting. Martinson & Beason gives me more knowledge and practice within the accounting field that I did not previously have.
