Through an interactive question and answer format, Morris and Will will be discussing what to expect in forming a small business, which business entity is right for you, and how your business will pass to your heirs. Get your corporate law questions answered as Morris and Will will be seeking questions from viewers.

If you are thinking about starting a business, you may be asking what is required and what is the process like? How much does it cost and how long does it take? By knowing the legal ramifications in starting a small business, you can increase your chances of success.

While no one enters a business relationship with the expectation of a future dispute between co-owners, the reality is a buy-sell agreement and other precautions can prevent controversies from occurring. It’s also important for small business owners to anticipate their potential legal and tax liability and plan accordingly.

Morris has been assisting families and accident victims since 2003, and was recently selected as a Super Lawyers Rising Star. Morris finds his calling in helping injury victims put the pieces back together. He is also heavily involved with Team Will and the March of Dimes. He is also the host of the Mo Show Live which features local, state and national leaders.

Will has been advising small businesses since joining Martinson & Beason in 2017. He is currently an at-large board member for the Huntsville-Madison County Bar Association Young Lawyers Section and a board member of the Alabama Bar Association Senior Lawyers-New Lawyers Task Force. In addition to corporate law, Will practices in the areas of estate planning, probate, and civil litigation.
