Mo Show Live with Chris & Kim Messervy

Mo Show Live PP - Chris and Kim Messervy

The next episode of the Mo Show Live will air Wednesday, May 27th at 7:00 PM central time and will feature Chris and Kim Messervy. The husband and wife team will join Morris to lend their voices to the fight against ALS.

Remarkably, Chris and Kim first met when they were four years old. Not only does this August mark the couple’s 20th Wedding Anniversary, but they also share four children together. As a fit and active mom, no one could’ve predicted Kim’s future diagnosis.

Kim has always been committed to her health. However, she underwent a series of doctor visits and tests after she started to experience weakness in her arm and hand in December 2018. She was eventually diagnosed with ALS, a progressive neurodegenerative disease, eight months after the symptoms started.

In this episode, we’ll discuss what ALS is, how someone contracts it, and the current treatments for the disease. Chris and Kim have become advocates for the ALS community. They’re here to share their story in the fight alongside other families affected by ALS, which is to open up medication and treatments that are currently in the trial phases, to all ALS patients under the Right to Try Act.
