Recognition From The Best Lawyers in America®

Morris Lilienthal's 2027 Best Lawyer Award

For more than 45 years, The Best Lawyers in America® has recognized attorneys for professional excellence in private practice through a peer-review process.

Attorneys are evaluated by other lawyers practicing in the same areas of law. According to Best Lawyers, fewer than 3% of lawyers in private practice worldwide are recognized by the publication.

Morris’s inclusion in the 2027 edition recognizes his work on behalf of plaintiffs in both personal injury and product liability litigation.

More Than 20 Years Representing Injured Alabamians

Morris has dedicated his legal career to representing people who have been injured and families who have lost loved ones because of the negligence or wrongdoing of others.

His practice includes car accidents, wrongful death, nursing home negligence, product liability, insurance bad faith, fraud and other serious personal injury matters.

For Morris, that work is about more than the legal issues involved in a case. A serious accident or unexpected loss can leave individuals and families dealing with medical bills, time away from work, uncertainty about the future and an unfamiliar legal process all at once.

Morris works to help clients understand their options, navigate that process and pursue compensation from those responsible for their injuries or losses.

His recognition in Product Liability Litigation – Plaintiffs also reflects his experience representing people who have been harmed by defective or dangerous products. These cases can involve complex questions about how a product was designed, manufactured, marketed or used and who may ultimately be responsible when something goes wrong.

A Career Built Around Advocacy

Morris’s connection to the legal profession began well before law school. The son of a judicial assistant for a district court judge, he grew up around the courthouse and developed an early interest in the law.

He went on to graduate from Cumberland School of Law in 2003, finishing in the top fifth of his class and serving on the Moot Court Board.

Before law school, Morris attended Maryville College, where he played offensive tackle on the football team while double majoring in biology and political science. That competitive nature and drive have continued into his legal career, where his practice is focused on advocating for people during some of the most difficult periods of their lives.

In addition to his recognition by Best Lawyers®, Morris has been recognized by Super Lawyers and holds an AV Preeminent® rating from Martindale-Hubbell.

Morris is also active in the Huntsville and Madison communities, including through the Madison Rotary Club. He hosts The Mo Show Live, where he speaks with local leaders, nonprofit organizations and community members about the people and organizations making a difference across North Alabama.

Martinson & Beason congratulates Morris on his recognition in the 2027 edition of The Best Lawyers in America® and this latest acknowledgment of his work on behalf of injured individuals and families throughout Alabama.
