Mac Martinson Named to The Best Lawyers in America® for Seventh Consecutive Year

Martinson & Beason, P.C. is proud to announce that attorney Mac Martinson has been named to the 2027 edition of The Best Lawyers in America® for his work in Real Estate Law.

This marks the seventh consecutive year Mac has received recognition from Best Lawyers®, reflecting a legal career spanning more than three decades.

Seven Consecutive Years of Best Lawyers® Recognition

Mac Martinson's 2027 Best Lawyers award

For more than 45 years, The Best Lawyers in America® has recognized attorneys for professional excellence in private practice through a peer-review process.

Attorneys are evaluated by other lawyers practicing in the same areas of law. According to Best Lawyers, fewer than 3% of lawyers in private practice worldwide are recognized by the publication.

Mac’s inclusion in the 2027 edition continues a seven-year run of recognition for his work in Real Estate Law.

More Than Three Decades in Real Estate Law

Since beginning his legal practice more than 30 years ago, Mac has helped individuals and businesses navigate a wide range of real estate matters throughout North Alabama.

His practice includes real estate transactions, contracts and disputes, eminent domain and condemnation, and sale-for-division matters. He also advises clients on business and commercial matters that often intersect with real estate ownership and transactions.

Over the course of his career, Mac has represented clients on multiple sides of complex property matters. His experience includes representing the State of Alabama in road condemnation cases and the Town of Triana in sewer condemnation cases.

That breadth of experience allows him to help clients navigate everything from routine real estate matters to disputes involving property rights, ownership and the acquisition of private property for public use.

Mac has also shared his knowledge of real estate law with others in the profession, including serving as a featured speaker at the Alabama Right of Way Conference.

Decades of Service to Clients and the Community

Mac earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama in 1987 and graduated from Cumberland School of Law in 1991. While in law school, he served as an Honor Court Justice and was named to the Dean’s List at both the University of Alabama and Samford University.

In addition to his recognition by Best Lawyers®, Mac holds an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell.

Outside of his legal practice, Mac has remained active in the North Alabama community. He has served as an elder, deacon and finance chairman at First Presbyterian Church and is a Trustee for the Land Trust of North Alabama.

Martinson & Beason congratulates Mac on his seventh consecutive year of recognition in The Best Lawyers in America® and this latest acknowledgment of his decades of work in real estate law.
