The U.S. Space & Rocket Center website says of the exhibit, “From stone tools to the birth of the Internet, driven by necessity and accident we have shaped our own destiny through invention. These inventions act as historical punctuation points in the story of 101 Inventions That Changed The World, that explores not only the inventions themselves, but also suggests the reasoning behind their development and their subsequent effect on humankind.” This exhibit seeks to connect significant scientific discovery with the need for celebrating the hard work, belief in possibilities, and scientific method.

The exhibition is designed to reflect Huntsville’s robust culture of invention and innovation for products, services and technologies.” With so much excellence steeped in Huntsville, Alabama, residents can be proud of their city in many ways.
