The next episode of the Mo Show Live will air Wednesday, May 13th at 3:00 PM central time and will feature Frank Dix who is an author and cancer survivor. Frank is joining Morris to discuss his journey from cancer diagnosis to remission, as well as his upcoming book release.

Frank has a family history with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), which is a type of blood cancer that begins in the blood-forming cells of the bone marrow. As a long-time supporter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society cause, Frank was nominated for LLS Man of the Year in 2018 and partnered with the organization for the 10-week fundraiser.

Ironically, he was diagnosed with leukemia himself during the final stretch of the fundraising campaign. Following the diagnosis, he received chemotherapy treatments weekly for the next seven months until he went into remission. Now he’s sharing his story to chronicle the emotional and psychological aspects of being diagnosed with cancer, in addition to the effects of cancer on one’s family.
