Mo Show Live with Identity Theft Attorney Micah Adkins

Morris and Micah will be discussing how to protect your identity, identity theft, obtaining your free credit report, credit scores, credit report errors, data breaches, and other credit and identity theft consumer safety tips.

It’s estimated that there were 16.7 million victims of identity fraud in 2017, a new record high. Schemes are becoming more complicated and several websites have experienced high profile data breaches comprising members’ data. This Mo Show will serve as a forum and source of information for those interested in protecting their identity.

Micah Adkins finds his calling as an advocate of consumers and their rights. He founded the Adkins Firm, PC which maintains offices in Birmingham, Alabama, Dallas, Texas, Houston, Texas and Nashville, Tennessee.  He focuses his practice on the representation of identity theft victims and consumers who have credit or background report errors.  His practice is 100% civil litigation in federal court, primarily under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), individually and on class-wide bases.

Micah currently represents the named class representatives in numerous state and nationwide putative consumer class actions. He is well-recognized by members of the Bar, including being named as a Top Consumer Lawyer and Super Lawyers Rising Star. He regularly lectures on federal consumer protection issues.

Micah is a graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas and earned his law degree from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. He is admitted to the bar in Alabama and Texas. While in law school, Mr. Adkins was honored by his classmates as the Peer Scholarship Recipient and served as an Associate Justice on the Honor Court.
