The next episode of the Mo Show Live will air Wednesday, February 17rd at 3:00 PM central time and will feature guest Jerraud Powers. The former NFL cornerback will join Morris to share his perspective on sports, community, and more.
As a native of Decatur, Alabama, Jerraud has pivoted his focus to giving back to the northern Alabama community since retiring from the NFL four years ago. With a group of close friends, he launched the nonprofit organization Team Freeze Foundation, lending financial support to families who need immediate help with getting back on their feet. Team Freeze’s mission is to prevent economic status from automatically limiting an individual’s chance to achieve their potential.
Beyond that, Jerraud also co-founded Pro Prep Performance (P3) in 2018 alongside professional athletes Juwan Simpson and Rashad Johnson. P3 focuses on coaching, training, and mentoring local high school and college athletes.
Rashad and Jerraud also co-host the Secondary Perspective podcast together; a show where they catch up on all things sports and life. In this episode, we’ll learn more about Jerraud’s NFL career and how he’s made the transition from a professional athlete into a dad and community leader.
