Morris and Joey will be discussing how startups and small businesses can protect their intellectual property through copyrights and trademarks, as well as Joey’s experience with starting and growing a law firm.

Joey Vitale is the founder of Indie Law which serves business owners across the country. Prior to founding his law firm, Joey was an attorney with a St. Louis based law firm. He is a graduate of the Saint Louis University School of Law and also Xavier University. Joey has served as a judicial extern for a United States District Court Judge and as a legal intern with Clayco.

Indie Law works with creative small business owners to protect their passions and give them the legal foundation they need to thrive. Indie Law focuses on the legal issues that matter most to small business owners and creatives: trademarks, business formation, copyrights, and contracts.
