Huntsville Named One of America’s Best Places to Retire

Huntsville, Alabama - Martinson & Beason, P.C.In a recent article, The Huntsville Times reports that CNNMoney.com named Huntsville one of America’s top 25 places to live during retirement. This is the second year that Huntsville has made the list. This year, Huntsville made the twelfth spot, behind cities including Marquette, Michigan and Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Surprised? We aren’t. The attorneys and staff at Martinson & Beason, P.C. are proud and honored to work and live in Huntsville. This is the place where our firm—and many of the people who work here—have grown.

According to CNNMoney.com, Huntsville earned its place on the list because of its “healthy serving of restaurants, stores, performing arts and medical care.” Our city was named “an ideal base camp for hiking, fishing, boating and birding in nearby state parks and nature preserves.”

The Huntsville Times article reported that a large percentage of the city’s population is over the age of 50 (37%).
