Mo Show Live with Officer Lane Harper

Officer Lane Harper

The next episode of the Mo Show Live will air Thursday, April 21st at 12:30 PM Central time and will feature guest Lane Harper from The Power of Life Foundation. In this episode, Officer Harper will join Morris to discuss his vision to help the underserved population facing difficult times with basic needs nationwide.

A Birmingham police officer, Officer Harper serves his community both on and off the clock. When in uniform, he works to protect and help bridge the gap between law enforcement and his local community. Harper also founded the nonprofit The Power of Life Foundation. He serves as Executive Director of the organization, going beyond the badge to make sure local families in his community have what they need.

These needs include assistance with utilities, temporary housing, providing nutritious food, clothing, employment resources, promoting health and wellness, and youth mentoring. Since the organization’s launch, they’ve partnered with local organizations to help distribute more than 720,000 reusable cloth face masks and over 550,000 pounds of food across the southeast United States.

According to Harper, “If everybody could think a little bit beyond themselves and do something for the next person, we’ll all be a better group of people.” In this upcoming interview, we’ll hear from him about ways to support the community and help lift people up.
