Huntsville, Alabama is known not only for our historical involvement in U.S. space missions but also for the wealth of cultural activities that the city has to offer. The Huntsville Symphony Orchestra is one of the many venues in our community that provide residents and visitors with family-friendly, entertaining events.
One such event is the upcoming Huntsville Symphony Orchestra (HSO) performance We Will Rock You – The Music of Queen. The Huntsville Symphony Orchestra, along with the musicians of Jeans ‘n Classics, will delight audiences with the hits of Queen. The iconic 80’s band will come to life with a mixture of classic rock and orchestral music, something that both orchestra enthusiasts and die-hard rock n’ roll fans can enjoy.
Joseph Lee will conduct the performance, which will take place at the Mark C. Smith Concert Hall on Saturday, February 16th. Tickets will be sold up to one hour before the beginning of the performance.
The Huntsville Symphony Orchestra serves the Huntsville community as a music school and a music education outreach center as well as a venue for performances. The orchestra offers a summer camp teaching music to children, classes for adults, and other programs.
