The next episode of the Mo Show Live will air Wednesday, October 2nd at 10:00 AM central time and will feature Alabama State Bar President Christy Crow. Morris and Christy will be discussing what Pro Bono month is about, the volunteer lawyer program that operates throughout the state, and other volunteer programs such as Wills for Heroes.
The next episode of the Mo Show Live will air September 18th at 10:00 AM Central Time and will feature John Shulman, the new head coach of the UAH Men’s Basketball team. Morris and Coach Shulman will be discussing the upcoming UAH basketball season, how Coach develops players on and off of the court, and his career coaching basketball.
Coach Shulman was introduced as the head men's basketball coach at The University of Alabama in Huntsville on May 10, 2019. He was formerly the coach at Tennessee Chattanooga from 2004 until 2013. While at Chattanooga, his team earned two NCAA tournament appearances following a pair of Southern Conference championships.
The next episode of the Mo Show Live will air September 4th at 3:00 PM Central Time and will feature Joey Vitale, founder of Indie Law, a Trademark Law Firm. Morris and Joey will be discussing how startups and small businesses can protect their intellectual property through copyrights and trademarks, as well as Joey’s experience with starting and growing a law firm.
The next episode of the Mo Show Live will air Thursday, August 22nd at 11:00 AM Central Time and will feature Chanda Crutcher, the founder of the Legacy Center and American Senior Assistance Programs (ASAP). Morris and Chanda will be discussing the mission of the Legacy Center, what it does for the community and its various programs.
Chanda Crutcher has almost 25 years’ experience in senior services/long-term care with a continual commitment to help seniors “finish well”. She has witnessed worse case scenarios for the elderly due to lack of proper planning and advocacy. Her vision is to assist older and disabled adults to live in the least restrictive environment, preserve their assets, and enjoy the highest quality of life as defined by the individual. Chanda has served on several nonprofit boards, including the Regional Board of Directors for the Alzheimer’s Association’s Mid- South Chapter. As an educator, strategist, and private consultant, Chanda has had an impact on the elder’s lives regionally and internationally. Lastly, Chanda was appointed to the Governor’s Alzheimer’s Task force in 2014.
The next episode of the Mo Show Live will air Thursday, July 18th at 3:00 PM Central Time and will feature Chris Newlin, Executive Director of the National Children’s Advocacy Center. Morris and Chris will be discussing why the NCAC was founded and its history, it’s local role as a resource for sexually and physically abused kids as well as kids who have experienced traumatic events.
